Clary complains about gay comedians
Published Saturday, Oct 22 2005, 16:01 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly
Julian Clary is unhappy over the number of gay comedians on television.
"There are far too many gay people around now," he complained to The Sun. "I think there needs to be some weeding out. I mean there's no need for Brian Dowling, is there?"
Despite this, Clary is not worried about fellow camp hosts Graham Norton and Paul O'Grady.
"There is room for the three of us," he explained. "We've all got our own little niche."
