Speaking to the Daily Record, the Emmerdale actress hinted that a revival of the '90s sitcom may happen if the cast is asked by creators Maurice Gran and Laurence Marks.
She said: "If there was a good idea there, then yes I'd be up for it. But we're all getting on a bit now. It might need to be set in an old folks' home with zimmer frames.
"The truth is, though, that we've not been asked yet. I read about supposed rumours every week but no-one has asked us.
"We had a fantastic time, we did it for ten years and more than 100 episodes. Sometimes it's better to stop when the going's good because it was still successful then and you have to know when to say no."
Quirke added: "You shouldn't do things to death, which we didn't. And unless we're asked then it's never going to happen. Someone cleverer than me would have to come up with the idea, though."
Birds of a Feather also starred Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph, who have both previously suggested that they would reprise their roles on the show.
