The BBC are planning a new daytime quiz show based on number game Sudoku.
Sudo-Q will combine the popular grid puzzles with general knowledge questions, and producers are currently looking for contestants to take part. The search is also on for a suitable presenter, however Countdown presenter and Sudoku fan Carol Vorderman has already been ruled out.
"The programme is called Sudo-Q, and it will be a new half-hour quiz," a spokeswoman told the Sunday Mirror. "Carol Vorderman will not be presenting the show, but it has not yet been confirmed who will."
