A new TV show will give families the chance to change their skin colour, BBC News Online says.
Black White, devised by RJ Cutler and hip-hop star Ice Cube, will see a white and a black family live together before being 'swapped' with make-up.
Ice Cube said: "It will force people to challenge themselves and really examine where we stand in terms of race."
Cutler added: "The loud message of the show is that we are a divided nation, but we can come together if we're willing to talk about our differences and work to see the world through the eyes of other people."
The show will air next March.
