Tonight benefits from Duchess appearance

The Duchess of York's debut as a reporter on Tonight... With Trevor McDonald helped boost the show's ratings on Thursday night.
The current affairs programme pulled 5.4 million at its peak (up from 3.7 million), slumping back to 4.4 million (29%) after Ferguson's report concluded.
Preceding at 21.00, emergency drama A&E averaged 7.3 million (32%). Channel 4's Football Stories managed 2.4 million (11%).
Later in the evening, 4's West Wing attracted just 1 million (11%) starting 23.05, whilst the return of Film 2001 to BBC1 at 23.35 took 1.2 million (18%).
