Parish, who played Katie Roden in the BBC programme, said that the cast are still good friends and would "love" to continue the series.
In an interview with Lorraine Kelly on Daybreak, she admitted: "I would love it not to be the end. Never say never, I think, in this case. We would love to do more. The four girls got on incredibly well and we'd hate it to be the end.
"But it's in the lap of the gods, I'm afraid. We'll have to wait and see."
Discussing possible future storylines, she said: "I think you could take those particular characters and put them in any scenario and it would work, because now the audience is invested in these four women and they want to see them appear in all these different ways. But it's totally up to the BBC."
On her character's mother in the show, played by Joanna Lumley, she admitted: "I didn't know what to do when I met her - whether to curtsey or clap... she's fantastic and exactly as you expect her to be. What an honour to have her playing my mum!"
It was recently confirmed by BBC One controller Jay Hunt that the programme was "definitely over".
