Take That, JLS for 'Children in Need'

Take That, JLS and Alexandra Burke are among the acts who will perform on the BBC's Children in Need programme next month, it has been confirmed.

Hosted by Terry Wogan and Tess Daly, the seven-hour live appeal show will be held across the UK on Friday November 19.

Take That will perform their new single 'The Flood' and for the first time since Robbie Williams rejoined the group, one of their classic hits. Meanwhile JLS will perform the official Children in Need single 'Love You More', which is released on November 14.

Other artists who will appear at various events being held across the country include: Alexandra Burke, who yesterday confirmed her new single, and McFly at Glasgow's SECC, Westlife, The Script and Jedward performing in Belfast, while Cardiff's Millennium Stadium will play host to The Saturdays and Only Men Aloud during half-time of the international rugby match between Wales and Fiji.

It was also revealed that Peter Andre will perform a tribute to Michael Jackson on the night and that some of the Loose Women will sing Girls Aloud's hit 'The Promise'.

Other highlights will include the annual contributions from the casts of EastEnders and Coronation Street, a popstar edition of Strictly Come Dancing and a live performance from the BBC Newsreaders.
