'Dancing' judge in row over salary

Jason Gardiner is at loggerheads with Dancing On Ice producers over his salary.

The show's acid-tongued judge is furious that he is being paid £400 per appearance and not £4,000 as he had expected. Gardiner made this shock discovery after splashing out on a string of expensive suits to wear for the show.

"It was hilarious but Jason certainly wasn't laughing," a source told The People. "He felt silly. Then he tried to turn it into an argument, insisting that he and the other judges get a clothing allowance. But he's not got a hope in hell. They won't give him a penny for clothes."

The newspaper also claims that rivalries are beginning to emerge between Kelly Holmes and Bonnie Langford.

"As with all these shows, there's always rivalry between contestants and it's becoming more competitive every day," the insider added. "Kelly's competitive personality means she is determined to win. She doesn't accept anything less from herself - and feels that Bonnie is her main competitor.

"Bonnie has been a surprise hit on the show. The viewers and judges love her and Kelly is a little annoyed."
