New 'Surreal Life' spinoff planned
Published Tuesday, Feb 7 2006, 13:01 GMT | By Neil Wilkes

Called The Surreal Life: Fame Games, the ten-episode series will see contestants pitted against each other in bizarre challenges such as 'Red Carpet Fashion Showdown', 'Paparazzi Hide-and-Seek' and 'Hotel Room Trash-a-thon'.
The players will gradually be eliminated throughout the course of the show, with the last one standing receiving the cash prize.
Confirmed cast members include Emmanuel Lewis (season 1), Ron Jeremy (season 2), Vanilla Ice (season 2), Traci Bingham (season 2), Brigitte Nielsen (season 3), Chyna Doll (season 4), Sandra "Pepa" Denton (season 5) and C.C. DeVille (season 6).
The Surreal Life has provided VH1 with no end of popular spinoffs in recent years, including Strange Love, My Fair Brady and Flavour of Love, the latter of which currently ranks as the network's top-rated original series.
Production on The Surreal Life: Fame Games begins March in Las Vegas for transmission towards the end of the year. Robin Leach will host.
