Controversial show to attack Ryanair
Published Sunday, Feb 12 2006, 22:30 GMT | By Dave West
Channel 4 will broadcast a programme attacking Ryanair over its security and hygiene.
The documentary – to be shown on Monday – is based on the work of two undercover investigative reporters. They secretly filmed the operator's flights and staff training for five months.
Ryanair's Chief Executive Michael O`Leary has rejected the claims, however, saying the airline has a good safety record.
"We have replied to all allegations made and have copied all of this correspondence at every stage to the relevant aviation regulatory authorities in the United Kingdom and Ireland," he explained. "They have also confirmed that they can find no substance to any of these written allegations."
