'Unanimous' decision in new reality show

FOX has begun production on a new reality show where one contestant will walk away with up to $1.5 million.
The premise of the show, called Unanimous, is simple: nine strangers are locked together in a secret bunker and won't be allowed out until they decide which one of them should win the money.
To provide incentive for them to make a decision, the pot will gradually reduce after a certain point in the show and, to push the game along further, one player will be eliminated each week. All eliminees will remain in the bunker, however, forming part of a Survivor-like "jury".
"This is really playing out much more like a sociology experiment than a reality show," Mike Darnell, head of reality at FOX, told Variety.
The network plans to air the show weekly at 9.30pm on Wednesday nights beginning March 22. The slot is prime real estate, with reality megaweight American Idol serving as its lead-in.
