Dick and Dom leave 'da Bungalow'

A spokeswoman said the decision to end the show when its run finishes in March had been agreed in advance. "They just wanted to do something new," she explained. Both Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood are currently in talks with Richard Deverell, BBC's children's controller, about possible future projects.
Although the Saturday morning show has been a success with children since it fist appeared in 2003, its mix of toilet humour and slapstick practical jokes with such regular features as 'Make Dick Sick' and 'Snotty Danglies' managed to find disapproval in the House of Commons.
The Mighty Truck of Stuff, featuring Reggie Yate gathering gifts from around the country and then giving them away, will appear in its stead.
