Published Monday, Feb 27 2006, 18:22 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
New US network The CW has greenlit its first pilot, a drama from Sex and the City creator Darren Star.
The series, called Runaway, has echoes of freshman hit Prison Break, with a plot involving a family who become fugitives in order to prove the innocence of their father, who has been convicted of murder.
Chad Hodge (Tru Calling) has written the pilot, while Star and Ed Zuckerman (Law & Order) will executive produce.
