CBS, FX and The CW have greenlit four new drama pilots, including one starring Courtney Cox.

CBS has approved a pilot for Shark, directed by Spike Lee and featuring James Woods as a celeb attorney who decides to become a prosecutor.

FX, meanwhile, has greenlit Dirt, which has Cox playing the editor-in-chief of two tabloid magazines. Cox will exec produce alongside husband David Arquette and creator Matthew Carnahan. The network has also approved Lowlife, with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver as a husband-and-wife team who were formerly con artists but are now trying to start afresh with their three kids.

Finally, new network The CW has picked up Split Decision, a Sliding Doors-style drama looking at possible scenarios for a teenage girl's first day at school.
