Yes, Dear star Anthony Clark has been named as the new host of NBC's returning stand-up reality series Last Comic Standing.
Clark, who also had a recurring role on Ellen, replaces original host Jay Mohr in the role. Mohr had been particularly vocal over NBC's decision to axe the show with just one episode remaining in 2004.
"Anthony is a very funny comedian whose engaging wit and personality have made him a favourite with audiences," said Craig Plestis, svp of alternative programming at NBC. "We're delighted to have him host the show when it returns this summer."
