The season will feature some of the naturalist's landmark series, including The Blue Planet, Life Of Birds and The Life Of Mammals, as well as an original commission, My Favourite Attenborough Moment.
The 2 x 60' series, airing on April 15 and May 7, will feature a countdown of Attenborough's top 20 moments as voted by viewers. Attenborough himself will host, with celebrity input coming from Bjork, Jonathan Ross, Bill Oddie and Joanna Lumley.
"We are absolutely delighted to be working with Sir David," said Adrian Wills, head of UKTV Documentary. "He has made a huge contribution to wildlife documentaries, which make up a core part of the channel. It is an honour to be able to mark Sir David's career and 80th birthday with this special origination."
