Katie Price has expressed astonishment at the judges' decision to put her through to the final of Let's Dance For Comic Relief.

The former glamour model won the judges' approval after Russell Kane received the strongest public vote.

Speaking after her victory, she reflected: "I can't believe having two left feet has actually paid off... Not a bad result for my dance floor debut!

"It's been brilliant being involved with Comic Relief, although the thought of doing it all over again in the final might just finish me off completely."

She finished ahead of Waterloo Road stars Rebecca Ryan and Philip Martin-Brown, as well as Rebecca Front, Ed Byrne and interior designers Colin and Justin.

Immediately after her performance, judge Graham Norton was wowed: "I love you, Katie Price. That was just fearless."

Frank Skinner added: "You do so many things - novelist, model, singer - and now you can say you're as good at dancing as everything else you do."

On Twitter this morning, Price expressed gratitude to her fans, saying, "Thankyou everyone who voted ahhh it means I have to do it again how scary!! (sic)".
