ITV confirms two royal wedding docs

ITV1 has confirmed that it has ordered two documentaries to celebrate Prince William and Kate Middleton's upcoming wedding.

One of the 60-minute features will look at the couple's relationship, while the other will focus on the marriage of Prince Charles and Diana.

Both When Kate Met William and Charles and Diana: The Wedding of the Century will serve as part of the broadcaster's coverage of the April 29 nuptials. Exact transmission details for both programmes have not been revealed.

ITV recently confirmed that Phillip Schofield will lead the royal wedding team alongside Julie Etchingham.
