'Sopranos' cast demand more cash

The actors say spreading the 20 episodes out means that their work constitutes two seasons and warrants a higher wage.
HBO bosses have rejected the claim from stars including Michael Imperioli (Christopher Soprano) and Lorraine Bracco (Dr Melfi). They think the actors will stay without an offer of extra pay.
A spokesman said: "We're confident that everyone will be signed for the last eight episodes."
Characters hope to follow in the footsteps of James Gandolfini, however, who has renegotiated to earn $1 million for each of the final shows.
