Matt Smith 'told not to strip in drama'

Matt Smith has reportedly been told not to strip off for his new drama.

The Doctor Who star will appear in the BBC's one-off programme Christopher And His Kind, which focuses on the life of novelist Christopher Isherwood.

According to The Sun, Smith was asked not to film any explicit nude scenes because of fears it could affect his role in Doctor Who.

A source said: "Because Doctor Who is a firm favourite, we thought it would be better if we didn't show Matt's behind in his new drama."

Christopher And His Kind will air on Sunday, March 19 at 9.30pm on BBC Two.
