MTV takes 'Real World' to Denver

The seminal reality show will begin taping in Denver's swanky LoDo (Lower Downtown) area within the next few weeks for a broadcast premiere towards the end of the year.
"Denver has absolutely everything we could hope for - diversity, activities, energy and nightlife," explained Lois Curren, evp of MTV Series Entertainment. "We're sure that the character and spirit of this picturesque city will be endlessly compelling to the seven roommates and audience alike."
Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper added: "This is a tremendous opportunity for Denver to showcase our cultural and recreational vibrancy to a very large, young audience."
The currently-airing, seventeenth season is set in Key West, Florida.
