'Doctor Who' actor eyes leading role

Doctor Who actor Jimmy Vee has confessed that he has his eye on a leading role in the show.
The 3ft 8in actor, who plays a variety of different aliens in the new series, dreams of taking over as the Doctor in the future.
"You never know what might happen in one episode," he told the Daily Record. "I'm slowly but surely moving up the ladder and getting more in to my characters. I'd love to play the Doctor at some point. Maybe I could take over from David Tennant one day."
