The broadcaster announced that it has ordered a pilot of the series, which is being produced by Objective Productions, the makers of ITV's BAFTA-nominated hit The Cube.
The show will see contestants' reflexes being tested through a variety of physical and mental challenges.
Advanced technology is used to film the series in super slow motion, meaning that the games could be won by one thousandth of a second.
Reflex's executive producer Adam Adler said: "We are very excited to be working with Channel 4 on this innovative game show pilot.
"It will be fascinating to see how people react at speed when captured by bespoke new slow motion technology."
The Cube was recently renewed by ITV for a fourth series.
