ITV axes 'Celebrity Fit Club'

Popular slimming show Celebrity Fit Club will not return for another series, ITV has announced.
In a comment made to The Sun, an ITV spokesperson said: "It was a great series with lots of highs and lows. It really showed the struggle and drama of losing weight. But after four series, we wanted to end on a high."
The news comes after the last series sparked controversy, with contestant Anne Diamond admitting to having surgery to place a gastric band around her stomach in order to help her lose weight.
Diamond left the show but claims she was bullied, and is now demanding the remainder of her fee that ITV withheld.
