Veteran family drama 7th Heaven will be returning as part of The CW's schedule next season, according to various reports today.
The surprise move to commission an eleventh season of at least thirteen episodes comes just weeks after what was purported to be the series finale on the WB.
With an average of 5.7 million viewers across last season, 7th Heaven ranked as The WB's most-watched show overall. It also holds the title of the longest-running family drama in TV history.
