BBC drops 'Come Pole Dancing' plans

The BBC have axed plans for a pole dancing spoof of the hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing.
The show was to be part of a Sport Relief show that was scheduled for July, but came under fire from a number of women's groups.
The Beeb claimed that the project was meant to be "just a bit of fun entertainment", but student protesters in Wales thought otherwise.
Equality president at the Swansea Institute college, Katie Dalton said, "Associating pole dancing with the respected name of Comic or Sport Relief will only serve to create a permissive attitude towards sexual images of young people."
A spokeswoman for the BBC later released a statement saying, "The idea of a pastiche of the much-loved Strictly Come Dancing has been discussed but will not now be developed further."
Stars Zoe Ball and Natasha Kaplinsky had already been lined up for the show.
