Simon Cowell gameshow 'Red or Black?' trailer debuts

The first trailer for Simon Cowell's new ITV1 gameshow Red or Black? has been released.

The Ant & Dec-fronted series, produced by Cowell's Syco TV, will see contestants compete to win £1 million in a series of games designed to test their luck.

Filming for Red or Black?, which will be sponsored by Domino's Pizza, began at London's Wembley Arena in June, with celebrity appearances from Jedward and footballers Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas.

Ticket holders watch a series of challenges, all of which have a 50/50 outcome, and must guess which way the event will unfold. One challenge involves David Hasselhoff being fired more than 230 feet into the air in a reverse bungee by X Factor judge Louis Walsh.

The Red or Black? contestants are eventually whittled down to one player, who will then spin a giant roulette wheel for the opportunity to become a millionaire - or leave with nothing.

Cowell has described the show as a risk, saying: "I like [the risks]. The problems we're going to have making this show is the timescale, I'm not sure how it's going to be done. It will be a nightmare but that's not my problem. This is up there I think [as one of my biggest risks]."
