The ITV1 gameshow kicks off on Saturday at 7pm, as members of the public put their luck to the test in order to win a top prize of £1m. As the show goes on location at London's Battersea Power Station, the Baywatch star is left waiting for Walsh to hit the right detonator.
With six available - three red, three black - the competitors must choose which colour they think will send the Hoff flying into the sky on a giant bungee cord.
As he was flung into the air, the 59-year-old exclaims: "Life is good... I can see my house from up here... hanging around baby, I'm just hanging around."
X Factor judge Walsh also enjoyed his role in the stunt: "It was fun to get to fire The Hoff. It was the first time I've ever seen him lost for words! He was very scared, but fair play to him for having a go - I wouldn't do it.
"He flew up so high and was just hanging there. You wouldn't catch me doing something like that; I like to keep my feet firmly on the ground!"
Red or Black? kicks off on Saturday at 7pm and 9.15pm on ITV1.
