The Bachelor contestant Morgan Lees has blasted her rivals, claiming that they are only on the show for fame.

Lees, who has also appeared on Hustle and was a dancer on The X Factor last year, told the Daily Star Sunday that some of the girls on the show aren't interested in Gavin Henson.

"It's hard to tell who's genuine out of the other girls," she said. "Some of them just want to win regardless of what happens with them and Gavin. When we found out he was The Bachelor, a few girls wanted to win a lot more just because of the exposure the winner will get out of it.

"Some of the girls are very competitive. I've got a competitive streak myself but a few have taken it to extremes to try to impress Gavin. Being on the show is quite intense and it's hard to get along with the other girls sometimes. When there's a row it can get awkward in the house.

"I thought he'd be really arrogant, but actually he's very down to earth and quiet. He's got good morals, which is really important to me. I'm not so bothered about looks these days - what a man believes in is much more important, which is why I like Gavin so much."

The Bachelor continues on Friday at 10pm on Channel 5.
