Presenter Noel Edmonds confirmed that Channel 4's popular daytime series, which offers players the chance to win a quarter of a million pounds, will celebrate its sixth anniversary with the episodes next month.
Edmonds told ITV's This Morning that the most exciting thing about the "amazing" news is that those who will play the game live do not currently know who they are.
"There could be people watching me right now, who don't know that I'm going to give them the chance to play Deal or No Deal," he said. "So if the doorbell rings, or there is a knock on the door in the next few weeks, a tap on the shoulder in the supermarket, the office door opens and I walk in; you could have the chance to change your life forever."
Edmonds confirmed that the shows, which will be broadcast in the usual afternoon slot, will still be completed "within the 60 minutes". He also teased another "lovely little twist" to the format.

"For me, it's going to be a great challenge. But it will put the pressure on a player," he said.
Channel 4's head of daytime Helen Warner commented: "It's hugely exciting to be doing Deal or No Deal live for the first time and Noel is the only presenter I can imagine being able to cope with something of this scale and ambition. I think the viewers will love it."
Deal or No Deal continues weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4.
