Channel 4 has commissioned a factual programme based on the hit format. It will star Gypsy Weddings' Thelma Madine, reports The Guardian.
With the working title of Thelma's Gypsy Girls, the show sees the Liverpudlian hire ten Gypsy trainees for her dressmaking business.
Produced by Firecracker Films - the same independent company which made Gypsy Weddings - the show will air sometime next year, according to Channel 4.
Big Fat Gypsy Weddings, which was renewed for a second series in May, became the broadcaster's most successful show in years when it peaked with over 8 million viewers in February.
Charlie Brooker drama Black Mirror is among Channel 4's autumn lineup unveiled today.
