Joanna Lumley has said that returning to the role of Patsy Stone to celebrate Absolutely Fabulous's 20th anniversary was "extraordinary".
Last month, it was confirmed that Lumley, Jennifer Saunders, Julia Sawalha, June Whitfield and Jane Horrocks would reprise their roles for three special episodes of the award-winning sitcom.

Lumley told ITV's This Morning: "We are doing just three, and Jennifer Saunders - its like luring some amazingly strange creature out of a cave because out she came and said she'd like to do three more.
"So we've done one for Christmas, one for the New Year and one for next year's Olympics which is going to be shown the same week as the Olympics."
Lumley continued: "It's the same cast - the five J's; Jennifer, me, Julia, Jane, June, and then some faces from the past from other shows which people will remember."
On stepping back into the role, she told hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: "It was just extraordinary! Just so great - the hair goes up and voice goes down a bit and out come the old cigarettes and there she is again!
"I think she's a part of what everyone wants to be - I think there's just a 'don't care' attitude that's rather lovely. I have to say I don't drink like that, and I don't smoke like that - I don't do those things - but part of us just likes them for being 'yeah, well, who cares'."
