Army's Everest expedition to be televised

Everest: Man versus Mountain will track the progress of the Army in its bid to become the first Britons to conquer Everest via its most notoriously difficult route, the West Ridge.
The 5x30' series, airing this autumn on Bravo, is the channel's first ever advertiser funded programming (AFP) agreement. Each episode will be topped an tailed with 10 second branded idents promoting the Army.
"This series is a story of daring, courage, skill and determination that will make compelling and awe-inspiring television," said Jonathan Webb, director of programming at Bravo. "The Army's challenge will bring out the heroic desire in every man, and their aspiration to experience a voyage as extreme as this."
