ITV's CGI-fuelled documentary Prehistoric Park has been sold to a number of international broadcasters.

From the creators of Walking With Dinosaurs, the six-part series follows natural history expert Nigel Marven as he travels back in time to rescue a number of creatures from extinction.

Among the pickups are Australia's Nine Network and TV3 in New Zealand, as well as TV2 (Denmark), TV4 (Sweden), TV Norge (Norway), Nederland 3 (Holland) and Channel 4 (Finland).

The series - backed by a multi-million pound budget - is a co-production between ITV, Animal Planet US, M6 in France and ProSieben in Germany.
