Kevin McCloud is to build an entire village of houses for a new spinoff of his Channel 4 Grand Designs series.
Kevin's Grand Design will follow the designer as he turns property developer to put forward a "sustainable and affordable vision" for property in the UK.
The 4x60' series - from TalkbackThames - will likely take two years to film because of planning permission regulations.
Meanwhile, C4 has also ordered How Toxic Are You?, a 2x60' piece exploring how toxic our lives have become. Host Sarah Beeny will randomly test kids around the country to find "Britain's most toxic child" before taking on all those responsible for exposing the public to harmful chemicals.
