'Popworld' spinoff shows planned

The 'Popworld' company - owned jointly by Channel 4, UBC and Freedom Media - is "in discussions" with a number of UK broadcasters about the formats and is expected to announce a commission shortly.
"They're all music programmes but have a wider remit than Popworld, crossing over into other areas such as comedy," Martin Lowde, Popworld CEO, told the website.
The main Popworld series recently underwent a complete revamp, which also saw the introduction of new presenters Alex Zane and Alexa Chung.
