Jeremy Kyle: 'I might be the most hated man in the world'

Jeremy Kyle has revealed that he had nothing to lose by joining ITV1's new game show.
High Stakes is presented by Kyle but he is also able to advise contestants on their answers.
Kyle has now claimed that he is already so disliked that he isn't worried about appearing on the show.

"There are people out there who would have turned down this job as it's high risk," he told The Sun. "I don't know the answers, so if I offer advice to someone and they lose, it could look bad.
"But I'm already the most hated man in the UK and possibly the world. So although I know how it will look if I get it wrong, that didn't really bother me, to be honest."
Kyle also revealed that he wasn't concerned when he was voted the second most hated man in the world a while ago.
"My agent said at the time, 'You can't even win the most hated man poll'," he joked. "But I think if they did the poll again I might win it as Bin Laden's gone.
"People have opinions. It's water off a duck's back. But there are a lot of people out there who say they don't watch [The Jeremy Kyle Show] and do. It's a guilty pleasure for lots of people. It's worked for six and a half years. It's on four times a day so I'm probably on television more than anyone else in this country. So I must be doing something right."
High Stakes airs on Tuesdays at 8pm on ITV1.
