Cutbacks at Wellbeing

Granada is planning a cutback in the broadcasting hours of health channel Wellbeing, it has emerged.
The move comes just months after a high profile launch at the start of March, as part of an intensive cost-cutting programme at the company to fund the expenses of ITV Digital.
One source told the Media Guardian: "In this climate, you have to be brutal about things. It is a bit like exploring for oil - sometimes you hit a rich seam, sometimes you don't. You have to cut your losses when you don't."
The station averages around 12,000 viewers, and broadcasts 9am - 9pm daily.
