The network is planning to air the series in a primetime slot on ITV1 from early next year, making it the first US acquisition to make it into the network's primetime schedule since Chris Carter's Millennium nine years ago. A repeat window on ITV2 is also planned.
The show revolves around six New Yorkers, whose lives become unexpectedly and indefinitely intertwined. Tipped to be one of the biggest breakout hits of next season, it will air on US network ABC in the slot following Grey's Anatomy from September.
"We are sure that the series' production pedigree and strong cast will appeal strongly to a UK audience," said Tom Toumazis, evp of distributor BVITV.
ITV previously bagged the rights to dramas The Black Donnellys, Raines and Smith for ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4 respectively and has also inked a second run deal for apocalyptic drama Jericho.
