Dawn French comedy The Vicar of Dibley will come to an end this Christmas with a two-part special, according to Broadcast.
Writer Richard Curtis is currently working on the final episodes, which are said to bring the series to a "conclusive" end after twelve years.
Peter Bennett-Jones, chairman of production company Tiger Aspect, refused to confirm rumours that the vicar would tie the knot but revealed that the final episode would end with "a big moment".
