Ricky Gervais has devised the show, which would see the Idiot Abroad and Life's Too Short stars combine for a world travel documentary featuring the comedy duo. The show currently has the working title The Short Way Round.
Watch Warwick Davis talking about The Short Way Round below:
Gervais previously said that he wanted the show to feature Pilkington riding a bike around the world with Davis in a basket, but it wasn't clear if he was joking about the concept.
However, Davis has confirmed that the plans are genuine, admitting that he is a huge fan of Pilkington.
"We've had a couple of meetings about it, and it is something in discussion at the moment," said Davis.
"I love Karl. I could hang out with him for days. Weeks. Which I'd have to if we did this. We share a view of the world a little bit. We're both a bit different as it were and we've got something in common with that.
"Also, we both like DIY. We talked about putting shelves up. Obviously mine is a bit lower than his. Karl's fabulous, I could hang out with him."
Warwick Davis's Life's Too Short continues on Thursday (November 17) on BBC Two.
