Former Mirror journalist Matthew Wright is to front ITV's opposition to the Friday edition of EastEnders.
Wright, who fronts a daily talkshow for C5, will present a revamped version of gossip show Celebrity, which will receive both a new name and format.
Andi Peters will remain as co-presenter, whilst Penny Smith will be replaced by Caron Keating and Kate Thornton.
According to the Media Guardian, the new show will have three strands - news, a behind-the-scenes report on the biggest event of the week, and a star interview.
ITV has ordered ten 30-minute shows from Carlton.
