The Star Wars, Harry Potter and Willow actor is to front the quiz Ace Of Clubs, which will promote enthusiastic members of clubs and societies who believe that they are the "ace of clubs".
Davis's sitcom Life's Too Short, which he co-created with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, launched last week with over 2.5 million viewers.
The Ace Of Clubs pilot is being filmed at MediaCityUK, BBC's new Manchester studios, on Tuesday, November 29.
Life's Too Short continues on Thursday (November 16) at 9.30pm on BBC Two.
