Comedian Brian Conley is to host a new afternoon variety show for BBC Two.
Let Me Entertain You, a 20x45' commission from Lion Television, will pit new performing talents against each other in a bid to become the overall champion.
"Brian is a fantastic talent and the show feels like a real treat for BBC Two's afternoon viewers," said Jay Hunt, controller of BBC Daytime.
Meanwhile, BBC One has commissioned The Wedding Show, a 5x60' format - also from Lion - fronted by Nick Knowles.
Each week one couple will hand over complete control of their wedding preparations to their families in an attempt to turn the biggest day of their lives into the best day of their lives.
Both shows will air later this year.
