Nadia Sawalha has been signed up to co-host BBC one's new magazine show.
The former EastEnders actress will join Adrian Chiles for the new daily broadcast, to be called The One Show.
On her appointment, Sawalha said: "I love the excitement of live TV - it gives me a real adrenalin rush and I'm a big fan of Adrian's."
Chiles was confirmed last month as one of the presenters for the new show, which will begin later this summer.
