Charlotte's "Nazi" Pope scene axed
Published Monday, Jul 24 2006, 16:58 BST | By David Cribb
A controversial sketch from Charlotte Church's new chat show has been ditched by television bosses.
As previously reported, Church was seen dressed as a nun eating communion wafers with Ecstasy smiley faces on before branding the Pope a "Nazi".
Naturally, a host of complaints were submitted from shocked audience members, and the show's chiefs have now axed the scene, claiming they want the show to be up-to-date.
