Cardiff city centre was transformed into a winter wonderland as the BBC filmed the Doctor Who Christmas special.
Christmas trees and giant snowmen adorned the streets, while the natural temperature was soaring, around 30 degrees Celsius.
David Tennant was heard to shout, "It's blinking boiling!" when fans asked him how he was.
As previously reported, Catherine Tate joined the cast for the show, entitled 'The Runaway Bride', and was seen jumping out of a black taxi and running down the street in a bridal dress.
