The BBC has signed DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles to a two-year exclusive deal.
As part of the deal, Knowles will present Mission Africa - a 15-part programme showing construction volunteers building an eco lodge in northern Kenya - and The Wedding Show - where a Knowles-led team organises weddings - for BBC One.
In between being "a major face for BBC One," Knowles will develop and produce programmes for the corporation.
"I'm delighted to be staying at the BBC continuing to be involved with new and exciting projects there," said Knowles. "When I'm not busy working on Mission Africa, The Wedding Show and DIY SOS, I'm planning to focus on developing new projects and I'm pleased that this contract gives me the time and scope to do this."
