The show, which saw wins for Shooting Stars, Miranda Hart, Stewart Lee and Sarah Millican, attracted 1.68m (5.2%) viewers from 9pm, peaking with 2.27m (11%) at 10pm. A further 151k (1%) watched an hour later.
Earlier on Channel 4, Come Dine With Me pulled in its usual rating of 1.04m (4.6%), as well as 179k (0.8%) on +1.

Wild Britain with Ray Mears drummed up 3.01m (13.5%) for ITV1, while The Big Quiz: Corrie Versus Emmerdale took 5.07m (31.4%) from 9pm. An additional 217k (1.2%) chose to watch the channel's flagship soaps going head-to-head an hour later.
On BBC One, The Two Ronnies Sketchbook took 3.1m (13.7%) at 8.30pm before Have I Got News For You and Live at the Apollo scored 5.18m (22.5%) and 3.63m (16.3%) respectively.
Mastermind intrigued 1.82m (8.2%) at 8pm on BBC Two, but the cookery shows that followed diminished the broadcaster's audience. Masterchef: The Professionals held on to 1.31m (5.8%) and Stuffed: The Great British Christmas Dinner earned 1.21m (5.3%).
Ice Road Truckers did well for Channel 5, grabbing 1.21m (5.3%). A screening of '90s blockbuster Speed was enough of a thrill for 1.2m (6.1%).
Overall, ITV1 won primetime on 23.7%, followed by BBC One's 20.7%. Channel 4, BBC Two and Channel 5 averaged out at 5.8%, 5.5% and 4.5% respectively.
