Jane Hall star Sarah Smart is to headline a new mystery drama miniseries.
Five Days - currently in production - revolves around the disappearance of a young woman in Hertfordshire and the 72-day investigation that ensues. Each of the five episodes will focus on a "watershed day" in the investigation and the fallout effects on the lives of those involved.
Other cast members include Nikki Amuka-Bird (Bad Girls), Hugh Bonneville (Courting Alex), Charlie Creed-Miles (Hustle), Phil Davis (Bleak House) and Edward Woodward (The Equalizer).
The project comes from HBO and the BBC, who have previously partnered on dramas Rome and Elizabeth, Ricky Gervais comedy Extras and the forthcoming movie Tsunami.
